Virtual meetings will be held after October 1, 2024 to review the details, commitments, and contract of joining the Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc. Organization.

Becoming a delegate for Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc. is signing a contract for a period of approximately 1 year in order to experience the benefits of our numerous events of outreach across the state of Alabama. The 1 year commitment is from the time of the February 2025 workshop - 2026 workshop (Unless you are the 2025 reigning queens/1st runners up. The reigning queens/1st runners up are under contract until the pageant of the following year - 2026.)

We are a nonprofit senior women's organization providing a sisterhood of support for our members, and reaching out to volunteer and serve our state.

During the 1 year commitment to Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc. delegates/queens are not allowed to enter other pageant systems, or if breaking the MSA, Inc. contract will forfeit title and all participation in MSA, Inc. events.

The commitment runs from registration of one year until workshop of the following pageant year.

Applying for MSA, Inc. does not guarantee acceptance, nor bind a delegate to participation.

The contract is not signed until the virtual meetings are held with delegates, and delegates have signed the contract and paid registration fees. Registration fee of $750 will be due October 1, 2024 - January 10, 2025. The the fee may be paid in full upon registration, or may be split into 3 payments: 1st payment due upon registration/signing of the contract, 2nd payment due December 31, 2024, and 3rd payment due January 31, 2024.

The fee of $750 includes: A beautiful, reguired, 3 night Retreat, February 13-16, 2025, at the Beautiful Beckwith Camp & Conference Center in Fairhope, AL, breakfast, lunch & dinner while at the retreat, lodging, coaching, and a professional headshot; an introductory luncheon after registration is finalized, crown and sash with your awarded title, a Queen's Dinner the Thursday night before the pageant, the pageant fee, awards and prizes, tshirt, and a crown bag. The Queen's Dinner will be June 5, 2025, Rehearsal Day will be June 6, 2025, and the pageant June 7, 2025 all at the Daphne Civic Center. (The $750 fee does not include hotel costs for the pageant days in Daphne. The Board will secure a block of rooms with a discounted rate for delegates for lodging during the pageant.)

The titleholders of 2025, Ms. Senior Alabama and Ms. Super Senior Alabama, will each be given a stipend to participate in Ms. Senior World, or the national pageant of their choosing, which will be paid directly to the chosen pageant system. If the titleholder chooses not to compete in a national pageant the funds are not awarded.

As a delegate, or a winner, you must arrange for your own transportation for all events related to Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc, and must also have the capability to use email, text, play videos, have the Group Me app for communication, and join virtual meetings online.
Ms. Senior Alabama 2025, ages 60-69 years (Date of Birth June 7, 1965 cut off/60 years of age on or before June 7, 2025), serves as Ms. Senior Alabama 1 year, from the 2025 - 2026 pageant until the 2026 - 2027 pageant.
Ms. Super Senior Alabama 2025,
ages 70 - 79 years (Date of Birth June 1, 1955 cut off/70 years of age on or before June 7, 2025), serves as Ms. Super Senior Alabama 1 year, 2025 - 2026 pageant until the 2026 - 2027 pageant.
Delegates are allowed to compete in the Seniors (60-69) age division, for 4 years, and to compete in the Super Seniors (70-79) age division for 3 years, with Senior Alabama, Inc.
*A minimum of 5 delegates & a maximum of 8 for ages 70-79 will be required in order to proceed with this portion of the pageant.

THE VIDEO MUST BE 30 SECONDS OR LESS IN LENGTH AND INCLUDE: WHY YOU WANT TO JOIN MS. SENIOR ALABAMA, INC., & A DEMONSTRATION OF YOURSELF WALKING & POSING AS IF ON THE STAGE. YOU MAY SEND 1 VIDEO OF ALL 3 REQUIREMENTS OR 2 SEPARATE VIDEOS. PLEASE DO NOT SEND VIDEOS OVER 30 SECONDS IN LENGTH. ALL VIDEOS MAY BE EMAILED TO: mssenioralabamainc@gmail.com. ALSO, PLEASE SEND A CURRENT PHOTO WITH YOUR VIDEOS TO THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS. DELEGATES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO KNOW HOW TO WALK & POSE IN A PAGEANT, NOR IS PAGEANT EXPERIENCE NEEDED. THE VIDEOS ARE TO SHOW ABILITY AND POTENTIAL TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE PAGEANT AND ORGANIZATION. VIDEOS WILL NOT BE SHARED PUBLICLY AND WILL BE FOR REVIEW OF THE MS. SENIOR ALABAMA BOARD OF DIRECTORS ONLY. THE PHOTO WILL BE USED TO INTRODUCE YOU ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITE, IF ACCEPTED AS A DELEGATE.

Read over the MSA, Inc. Contract so that you will understand the expectations and requirements. Contracts will be reviewed in a meeting with potential applicants and the MSA, Inc. Board of Directors, and signed thereafter.
The registration fee is not paid until notification of acceptance and review and signing of the contract has been completed.
The Biographical Forms will be reviewed with the board and are not due until March 16, 2025, which include information for the judges, your message to senior women, and philosophy of life. The Stage Introduction Forms are due April 16th, 2025. We will give detailed information on filling out the form, writing your introductions, message, and philosophy, and choosing your outfits.
Delegates in Ms. Senior Alabama do not have to win a preliminary in order to enter. If entering Ms. Senior Alabama from a preliminary pageant, it is the responsibility of the delegate to communicate with the director of the preliminary about the rules of said pageant and to determine titles, awarding of titles, and continuation of said titles. The Board of Directors of Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any title or delegate without explanation. Application and acceptance into the pageant is based on criteria from the application in agreement of the by-laws and policies of the Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc. organization, and by decision of the Board of Directors.
All applications have to be approved by the Ms. Senior Alabama Board of Directors. You will receive notice from an officer of the Board regarding approval. Decisions made by the Board are final, with no rebuttal considered. If a delegate chooses to drop out of the pageant after acceptance and registration fees have been paid, registration fees are not refunded. If a delegate drops out due to an emergency situation, refunds are allowed through January 15th, 2025. No refunds are processed after January 15th, 2025.
