| On June 11, 2011, Ms. Sr. Jefferson County, Frankie Cashion won the coveted title of Ms. Senior Alabama. Frankie wowed the audience with her rendition of a rhythm tap dance to 42nd Street. Her vivacious personality and her love for dance won over all who observed as she competed in the Twenty-Fifth Annual Ms. Alabama State Pageant held at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama.

| Frankie has been a businesswoman for the past twenty-five years, and was the founder of Frankie's Fashion Floors. Her business sold and installed carpet, hardwood of all types and vinyl tile.
|
|
| Frankie's love is working with homeless children. She gives her time by teaching a Bible Study and giving dance lessons to the children in a state home near her neighborhood. During her spare time, Frankie is a member of numerous dance clubs, such as the Alabama Showstoppers, Magic City Boppers, and the Birmingham Shag Club. She also started a charity for teen, entitled, "Dare to Dance Instead of Drugs." Frankie also takes her talents to nursing homes and assisted living facilities around her area.

| Working with those who have lost children is also close to Frankie's heart. One of her most difficult moments was losing her son, and she relates to those who suffer the same. She states that whether it is a compassionate touch or just words of understanding she feels that identifying with one another is so important in life.
|
|
| Frankie believes that everyone has a calling......whether a teacher, a homemaker, or a builder, we all have a place, a very special place in our world, and there is still much to do.
